University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) has picked up another win at the ongoing 2020 Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games.
UMaT beat University of Health and Allied Science (UHAS) 65-56 earlier today at the University of Ghana (UG) Court a day after thrashing Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) 75-26.
UHAS trailed 41-51 at the end of third quarter after an impressive showing to trim its 17 point deficit to 10 heading to the final quarter.
UMaT plays University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in its final game of the competition on Friday, January 17 while UHAS takes on UPSA at the same venue.
In the follow up game played this morning, host UG piped Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) 54-53 to stay undefeated in the competition after nine games.
UG trailed for almost the entire contest but tied the game at 49 with 38 seconds remaining and went ahead to clinch the win. UG plays University of Cape Coast in its final game.
