Ghana Forward Ben Bentil made his mark in his latest outing in the EuroLeague Basketball Championship for Greek side Panathinaikos.

Panathinaikos beat German side Bayern Munich 98-83 at O.A.C.A. Indoor Hall in Athens, Greece with Bentil coming off the bench in the contest.

The Sekondi native played just two minutes and 37seconds but ended up scoring five points and grabbing three rebounds in the contest.

The win is the second for Panathinaikos over Bayern in the European competition this season; former Detroit Pistons Center Greg Monroe scored 17 points for Munich.

Bentil missed Panathinaikos league game win over Lavrios played on January 12 and continues to play a limited role in his debut season in the continental competition.

Teammate Deshaun Thomas starred in the win over Munich by registering 18 points, nine rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes. Panathinaikos play Zalgiris on January 16.

Bentil is the first Ghana born player to drafted into the NBA (2016) and play in the NBA following his brief run with Dallas Mavericks.
