Basketballghana.com gathers Wheelchair Basketball Player Raphael Botsyo Nkegbe will unveil a sportswear line named after him in the coming weeks.
The Para athlete who competed at the 2012 Olympic Paralympics Games in London is due to headline the clothing line named “Botsyo Sportswear”.
Reports indicate UK Sportswear Company, POKOO Sportswear, is manufacturing the clothes for the fashion line for Ghana’s famous para athlete.
Shirts, gym bottles, gloves, sports bags, tracksuits and other items are set to be produced and sold under the Botsyo Sportswear Brand.
Proceeds from the sale of items will fund activities at the GoGetdem Foundation; proceeds will fund the purchase of equipment for the Foundation.
Nkegbe led Brong Ahafo Region to win gold at Ghana’s National Sports Festival held in 2017 and the latest development adds another phase to Botsyo’s impressive list of achievement.
He has served as Vice Chairman for the Ghana Society for the Physically Disabled and Right to Dream Academy Director in Ghana.
Nkegbe is the first para-athlete to qualify to the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
