The list of fixtures in the semifinals of the Tema Community Basketball League playoffs have been confirmed following the conclusion of games in the first round of the postseason.
The final game between Tema Heat and Spintex Knights was cleared on Sunday, January 12 at the Tema Community 4 Court with Heat losing 35-47.
The win gives Spintex a 2-1 series win and progress to the next stage of the playoffs; 2019 League finalist Tema Heat’s season comes to a quick end as a result.
The remaining games in the first round ended after two games with Nungua Coldstore, Tema Rockets and Tema Community 4 securing progression.
Despite being a league debutant, Knights have a host of experienced players who have competed in the league in prior years; Spintex plays home side Community 4 next with Game One set for January 19.
The next round of games are to be decided in a best of three game series; defending champions Nungua Coldstore play Tema Rockets on the same day.
