Debutants in the Sprite Ball Championship Final game made huge impressions in their debuts at the recently ended 2020 edition held at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
Winners Shama Senior High School and Keta Business College played for in the Sprite Ball final game for the first time in the history of the competition.
Both teams ended up on the winning side with Shama bagging the Gils Division title thanks to a nail biting 15-14 win over St. Louis Senior High School.
Keta Business won the Boys Division title for the first time ever by beating record winners Mfantsipim School 48-40 in an interesting final showpiece.
More history was created as beaten finalist in the Girls Division-St. Louis Senior High School-played in their first ever Sprite Ball final.
This year’s finalists in both divisions played each other twice in the tournament including the final games with the one taking place in the preliminary stage.
St. Louis beat Shama 24-17 in a Group B matchup while Keta Business beat Mfantsipim 32-24.
