Keta Business College (KETABUSCO) and Kumasi Girls Senior High School have emerged winners in their respective groups at the 2020 Sprite Ball Championship.
Keta Business beat Sekondi College 37-19 in the final game in Group A in the Boys Division to lead the group with maximum points from winning twice in as many games.
The Volta Region representative had a signature 32-24 win over Mfantsipim School in the opening game of this year’s Championship.
Topping the Group is an immense achievement for Keta Business who failed to progress to the quarterfinals in last year’s competition.
In the Girls Division, defending champions Kumasi Girls had another straight forward win to lead Group A with three wins in three games.
Kumasi Girls beat Presbyterian Senior High School (PRESEC-Osu) 27-12 on the back of recording a 19-16 win over Bueman Senior High School in the opening game of the tournament.
The two time winners get to play the first runner up in Group B which is to be decided early o Saturday, January 4.
