Dynamics Basketball Program Founder and Head Coach Feranmi Olunloyo has described Sprite Ball Championship as a competition kids aspire to play in.

He made the statement in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com on the sideline of a basketball clinic he headlined at the University of Ghana (UG) Legon Campus earlier today shortly after the arrival of participating schools.

20 schools will compete in the 2020 Sprite Ball at the El Wak Stadium in Accra from January 3-4; Kumasi Girls Senior High School and Mfantsipim School are defending champions in the Girls and Boys Divisions respectively.

“Sprite Ball is something so important for Ghana basketball as a whole. It is something one for kids to aspire to so when you are in Junior High School and Form One in High School because it’s the stuff of legends…younger kids see this and they start training early they start getting better early” he said.

Coach Olunloyo worked on a few drills with several members of the participating schools in what is an annual curtain raiser for the Sprite Ball Championship.
