Team Ghana emerged winners of the Pro Basketball Academy All Star Game played on Sunday, December 29 at the Lincoln Community School in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

Team Ghana beat Team World 87-71 in the main event of the program that had fans participate a three point shooting contest and free throw shooting contest.

Keeping in tune with the Year of Return theme running in the West Africa nation, the All Star Game had members of Ghanaians in the diaspora made up Team World.

However, Team World couldn’t deal with the dual threat of Joseph Awulutey Junior and sharp shooter Emmanuel Wolff and trailed through the entire contest as a result.

Wolff buried consecutive shots from three point range in the second quarter while Awulutey finished off a pair of two handed alley oop slams and bagged two three point shot attempts.

Team Ghana had notable names on its roster including Emmanuel Ekow Amoako, George Opoku Pare and Kwame Attafuah. Leader of Pro Basketball Academy Kwesi Adumako Junior expressed his excitement about the turn of events at the Lincoln School.
