Defending Sprite Ball Champions Mfantsipim School will face Keta Business College (KETABUSCO) for the second year in a row at the Sprite Ball Championship.
Mfantsipim play KETABUSCO in the preliminary round of the 2020 Sprite Ball after both schools were drawn in Group A; Sekondi College rounds up the group.
Next year’s competition runs from January 3 to January 4 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra with 12 schools competing in the Boy’s Division and eight schools competing in the Girl’s Division.
In the 2019 edition, Mfantsipim played St. John’s School, Sekondi and KETABUSCO in the preliminary round recording a 59-14 win over KETABUSCO en route to winning a fifth Sprite Ball title.
Aside facing a familiar opponent in KETABUSCO, Mfantsipim are due to play a team from Ghana’s Western Region in Sekondi College (SEKCO).
SEKCO lost out to St. John’s in the regional final but made quite an impression in its debut appearance in the 2019 Sprite Ball.
Sprite Ball is headlined by Coca-Cola Company and organized by Rite Sports Limited.
