Presbyterian Senior High School (PRESEC-Osu) is to be represented prominently at the upcoming Sprite Ball Championship in January next year.
The school has qualified to compete in the 2020 Championship in the Boy’s Division and Girl’s Division as representatives of the Greater Accra Region.
The next Sprite Ball runs from January 3 to January 4 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra; Sprite Ball is Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball competition.
While Osu PRESEC won the 2018 edition and placed fourth in the 2019 edition in the Boys Division, the school’s Female team has disappointed after failing to qualify to the competition.
However, PRESEC’s Female team corrected that flaw by becoming one of two schools to qualify from the Greater Accra region for next month’s tournament.
PRESEC Osu and two time Sprite Ball silver medal winners Accra Wesley Girls High School qualified from the Girl’s Division. PRESEC Osu and West Africa Senior High School will represent Accra in the Boys Division.
Sprite Ball is sponsored by Coca Cola Company and organized by Rite Sports Limited.
