Ghanaian duo Nathan Mensah and Joel Mensah were in action in San Diego State Men’s Basketball latest game in the US Men’s College Basketball Regular Season.
The pair helped the Aztecs beat Utah 80-52 for its 12th win in as many games this season; the win was recorded in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic Game played at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Nathan recorded 14 points, five rebounds, a block and a steal in 24 minutes as the starting Center for San Diego. The second year big man was efficient as he converted six of eight shot from the field and converted a pair of free throw shots.
Fellow frontcourt mate Joel Mensah started off the bench and played seven minutes recording four points and a block in the process.
Malachi Flynn topped the scorers list for San Diego with 16 points and added eight assists. Utah’s Jimmy Allen scored 21 points in the game.
San Diego takes on California Polytechnic State University on Saturday, December 28.
