Seedings for the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League playoffs have been confirmed following the conclusion of the regular season.
The season has ended later than usual and the playoffs are scheduled to commence on Sunday, December 29 at the Tema Community 4 Court.
Defending Champions Nungua Coldstore will compete in the playoffs as the number one seed thanks to winning all but one of 22 games in the regular season.
2017 League Champions Tema Community 4 ended the regular season with the second seed with Spintex Knights and Tema Community 2 clinching the third and fourth seeds respectively.
Tema Rockets and last season’s finalist Tema Heat have the fifth and sixth seeds while league debutants Sakumono Titans and Tema Wildcats clinched playoff places. Wildcats ended the regular season with the seventh seed with Titans clinching the eighth seed.
To the surprise of many, bronze medal winners last season Francophone All Stars, missed the playoffs with an improved Akatsi Rifles roster doing same. Below is the end of season standings ahead of the postseason:
