Basketballghana.com can confirm the logo for the Basketball Africa League (BAL) has been officially unveiled; the unveiling was done earlier today at the Kigali Arena in Rwanda.
The Arena is hosting the final phase of qualification games to the semifinal stage of the continental championship organized by the NBA and FIBA Africa.
The logo has a basketball player taking a jump shot silhouette with green, yellow, red and royal blue colours in the background.
Ghana’s leading basketball portal understands the variety of colours in the logo represents the vibrancy of the Pan African culture and diversity.
Games in Group H are ongoing in Rwanda’s capital with teams battling to clinch the final four spots available in the semifinals.
Pool A in the Group has the likes of Patriots from Rwanda, JKT from Tanzania and GNBC from Madagascar competing. Pool B has Ferroviario Maputo from Mozambique and City Oilers from Uganda competing.
AS Police from Mali and GS Petroilers from Algeria are among the quartet of teams to progress from Group G.
