Representatives of 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I Champions Braves of Customs dominate the Accra All Star Team that will compete in the upcoming Africa Basketball Festival.
The All Star Team will engage the All Star team from the Tema Community Basketball League on December 24 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
The game headlines the one day Festival; Ghanaian food and music is expected to be celebrated during the event in a fortnight in the West Africa nation’s capital Accra.
Braves beat Adenta Leopards in a three game series to clinch this season’s title at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu earlier this year.
Unsurprisingly, several members from the triumphant group of players have been included in the Accra All Star Team. Braves Captain and Shooting Guard Baniba Dodzie leads the group in the 12 man team.
Joining him on the team are Centers Suleman Abubakar and James Pappoe, Guard Hashim Brimah and Power Forward Daniel Aryee.
Braves Coach Seth Okine will lead the Accra Team.Leopards has four representatives on the team.
The Africa Basketball Festival is organized by Rite Sports Limited. Below is a full list of players for the Accra Team.
