Braves of Customs Coach Seth Okine has heaped praise on Adenta Leopards in the aftermath of the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division Playoffs Finals Series.
Customs topped Leopards 60-56 in the deciding Game 3 to lift the Benjamin Baafi Trophy at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu this past weekend.
Braves had to battle hard to clinch the title after falling 57-65 to Leopards in Game One at the Prisons Court in Cantonments before winning two straight games.
Speaking to Basketballghana.com after leading Braves to capture its latest league title, Okine commended the efforts of Leopards.
“Its not easy managing a team…Adenta Leopards is a very good team in fact they gave us a run for our money they took the first game and we had to come back to take the last two games to become the champion. It wasn’t an easy task anyway” he said.
The Game One loss was the only defeat Braves suffered in 20 league outings this season. Leopards and Ghana Fire Service round up the top three positions.
