The 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II regular season has come to an end with University of Ghana (UG) winning the top spot.
The season ended on Thursday, October 31 with three games honoured at the Prisons Court in Cantonments in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
Tudu Galaxy beat DUNK Knights 76-55 in the opening game and Galaxy’s win was followed by similar results for Junior Reformers and Panthers.
Reformers beat Novas 52-49 while veteran side Panthers topped Ada Knights in a 46-44 win in the final round of games in the division.
UG lost two games all season in 16 games ending its debut campaign in the league with 30 points two points better than Ghana Air Force’s point tally.
DUNK’s loss meant the young team ended the team’s chances of escaping the bottom spot in the nine team standings with 19 points from winning three of 16 games.
Panthers and Novas round up the top four ranked teams. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
