Reigning GSP Basketball League Champions Young Boys Club will compete in the opening round of the 2019-2020 League season Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The new season tips off on Saturday, November 2 at the Sunyani Technical University (STU) Basketball Court; league games are scheduled to be honoured the following day at the same venue to conclude Week One of the campaign.
Young Boys crowned a super debut season by winning the league title ahead of two time winners Suncity Braves with a roster that had members with extensive history playing in the league.
Young Boys take on LIR on Sunday, November 3 at 16:00 GMT after Braves play home side STU at 15:00 GMT in the second half of Week One.
The first half has Techiman Merchants playing Desert Rabbits at 15:00 GMT and West Siders playing Catholic University College, Ghana.
Eight teams will compete in the upcoming season and is set to conclude in March next year. The GSP League has been running since the 2014-2015 season.
