Accra Wesley Girls High School Basketball Coach Curlsbonny Owusu has stated he has learnt a lot for upcoming tournaments.
He made the statement in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com after leading his side to win the Dynamics School League (DSL) Basketball Invitational Tournament Senior High School level this past weekend.
Accra Wesley Girls beat Ghana Christian High International School (GCHIS) 12-11 in the final of the Girls Division on Saturday, October 26 at the ICGC Court in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
Accra Wesley Girls is due to compete in the Accra Mayor’s Cup and Sprite Ball Championship qualifiers in the coming weeks. The Mayor’s Cup takes place on November 3 at the Bukom Arena.
“We have a lot to do because this-DSL Title-is not my target my targets are the tournaments ahead…I have learnt a lot of mistakes and am really going to work on the girls” Owusu said.
Accra Wesley Girls will compete against St. Mary’s Senior High School, Accra High School and West Africa Senior High School in the Mayor’s Cup.
