Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) and Accra Wesley Girls High School prepped up for the upcoming Accra Mayor’s Cup by competing in the Dynamics School League (DSL) Invitational Senior High School Tournament.
The tournament took place on Saturday, October 26 in Ghana’s capital, Accra with select schools from the private and public sectors featuring.
The maiden edition of the Mayor’s Cup is in honour of Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) Boss Mohammed Adjei Sowah and takes place on Saturday, November 2 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
PRESEC-Legon and Accra Wesley Girls are part of the eight High Schools set to compete in the one day tournament later this week.
St. Thomas Aquinas High School, PRESEC-Osu, Sacred Heart Technical Institute and PRESEC-Legon have been drawn in the Boys Division.
Accra High School, West Africa Senior High School, St. Mary’s Senior High School and Accra Wesley Girls have been drawn in the Girls Division.
PRESEC-Legon lost 22-30 to Ghana Christian High International School in the DSL Boys Final while Accra Wesley won the Girls Division thanks to a 12-11 win over Ghana Christian.
