Teams to compete in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I playoffs have been confirmed with the regular season concluding earlier this week.

The final regular season game took place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with Tema Youth going up against Reformers of Prisons.

Tema Youth beat Reformers 87-78 to clinch the final playoff seed in the Division at the expense of Adabraka CYO who occupied fourth place in the standings.

Youth joins the top three teams-Braves of Customs, Adenta Leopards and Ghana Fire Service in respective order-in the postseason.

Braves unbeaten run in the league-a second in two years- got the team to record 32 maximum points; six more than Leopards.

Adenta was eight seconds from clinching a famous win over Braves but a missed dunk attempt led to a turnover Braves veteran Guard Patrick Gameli converted a buzzer beating three point shot to give Customs a 66-65 win.

Tema needed to beat Reformers to make the playoffs; the team won three games in a row to sneak into the postseason after losing five straight games at the start of the second round.
