Reformers of Prisons is slated to compete in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I later tonight after bagging an important win in its last league appearance.
In a midweek game played against Adenta Leopards on Wednesday, October 16 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu, Prisons beat Leopards 54-51. Adenta ranks second in the league standings.
The matchup was an outstanding game following postponement from the original date and tonight’s matchup against Tema Youth is another outstanding game Reformers need to clear.
Tema Youth is vying for a spot in the playoffs and is coming off an encouraging 63-61 win over hitherto playoff contender Ghana Police Service.
Prior to Reformers second game this week, Novas takes on Junior Reformers in the opening game at 15:00 GMT in the first of two Men’s Division II games.
DUNK Knights play veteran side Panthers in the same division. Ghana Navy plays Reformers Female Team in the Women’s Division.
