Accra Basketball League (ABL) games affected by rains this past week have been cleared at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
Games in all three divisions in the league’s 2019 campaign affected by heavy rainfall that hit most parts of Ghana’s capital, Accra were honoured at the league’s venue.
In the Women’s Division, leaders Braves of Customs further extended its winning run in the ongoing season by beating Tudu Galaxy 34-19.
It was one of two matchups in the division but the only one honoured as University of Ghana (UG) did not turn up for its matchup against Ghana Police Service.
Police has been awarded a 20-0 win via forfeiture by league officials as a result; Police ranks second in the league behind Braves.
However, UG’s Men’s team turned up for its game against Tudu Galaxy in the Men’s Division II; UG beat the home side 58-50.
In an outstanding game in the Men’s Division I, Reformers of Prisons stunned Adenta Leopards 54-51. Reformers have another outstanding game to clear against Tema Youth on Friday, October 18.
