San Diego State University Men’s Basketball roster won’t have a third Ghanaian following news of Ebenezer Dowuona’s decision to commit his future with North Carolina State University.
Dowuona made the decision recently picking North Carolina ahead of San Diego and a host of Universities including Auburn University and Tulane University.
San Diego has two Ghanaian players on its roster in Nathan Mensah and Joel Mensah who play in the same position as Dowuona-Center/Power Forward.
The Mensah’s are entering their second year with the Aztecs after showing immense potential in their freshman year last season.
Dowuona noted “feeling at home” on his visit to North Carolina was one of the main reason behind his decision to sign for North Carolina.
The young Center who stands at 6 foot 10 inches is in his final year at The Heritage School in Newnan, Georgia and is touted for his shot blocking ability and growing offensive game.
He is the younger brother of Purdue University Center Emmanuel Dowuona.
