Ghana Center Amida Brimah has missed out on Indiana Pacers preseason game for the second time in a row in the aftermath of Pacers latest friendly game.
Indiana lost for the first time in four games in preseason after falling 111-119 to Minnesota Timberwolves in its final appearance prior to the commencement of the 2019-2020 NBA season.
Brimah was an unused substitute in the game with fellow partially guaranteed contracted players like Wade Lemon Jnr. and C.J. Wilcox.
Amida didn’t play in Indiana’s third preseason game which ended in a 105-87 win over Chicago Bulls on Friday, October 11. Brimah played in Pacers two preseason wins over Sacramento Kings in Mumbai, India.
The 25 year old former Captain of University of Connecticut is aiming to make Indiana’s final 15 man roster for the upcoming NBA season.
He has spent two seasons in the NBA Gatorade League since graduating from Connecticut in 2017 and won the league title with Austin Spurs in his first season.
The 6 foot 11 inch defender is also a two time All Defensive First Team in the Gatorade League.
