Fixtures in the Men’s Division II dominated the list of games played in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) latest round played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu on Friday, October 11.
Novas and Ada Knights continued their good run form in the division by bagging wins in the earlier matchups but the final game between Panthers and Junior Reformers was called off due to rain.
Knights beat Kaneshie Swanlakers 62-45 after grabbing a 49-46 win over top three ranked side Ghana Air Force in the previous round.
Prior to Ada’s win, Novas piped Dunk Knights with a 54-53 win for its second win in a row after a stop start run in the 2019 campaign.
All momentum heading to the latter part of Panthers game against Junior Reformers was halted with heavy rain forcing organizers to cancel the game.
It is the latest game that failed to conclude in the aftermath of power failure at the league venue forcing high profile games in the Women’s and Men’s Division I to be postponed.
The match is set to be continued tonight.
