Top clashes in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) season have been cleared to be honoured later today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The games involve Braves of Customs teams competing in the league; Braves Men’s team won the 2018 league title and is scheduled to play Adenta Leopards at 18:30 GMT.
Braves female side takes on bitter rival Ghana Police Service at 16:00 GMT at the same venue after the final regular season game between the two sides ended abruptly due to power failure on Saturday, October 5.
Police trailed Braves 26-29 in the third quarter with 8:09 minutes remaining before a blackout forced league officials to postpone the matchup.
Braves had taken the game’s lead on the back of a solid performance in the second quarter that had the multiple time league winners go on a 10-0 run to take a 27-20 first half lead.
Police lost to Braves earlier in the season and lost 29-31 to the same side in the CAP7 Memorial Tournament.
