Defending GSP Basketball League Champions Young Boys Basketball Club is in line to compete in preseason games this weekend.
The preparatory games are to be played on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6 at the Sunyani Technical University (STU) Court prior to the commencement of the 2019-2020 league season.
Young Boys take on Desert Rabbits tomorrow at the STU as it gears up for the new season which tips off on Sunday, October 12.
The league recently concluded registration of teams for the new campaign and Young Boys fulfilled the requirements to compete in the league and get the chance to defend its league title.
The game is one of a two game line up for tomorrow; two time league winners Suncity Braves play Techiman Merchants at 15:00 GMT.
Preseason competition continues on Sunday with LIR taking on West Siders at 16:00 GMT. Young Boys won last season’s league title in its debut run in the league ahead of Braves.
Young Boys however, had several players with prior experience in the league including Guard Robert Brew.
