Tema Community 2 will compete in the biggest draw of the upcoming round of games in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League season without one of its key players.
C2 plays Tema Rockets on Sunday, October 6 at Tema’s Community 4 Court in an important game for both teams who are battling for higher playoff seedings.
However, C2 will do so without Power Forward Prince Owusu Anning due to a two game suspension he received from the league’s disciplinary body for improper behavior.
Anning is eligible to compete in the remaining games after Sunday’s fixture as last season’s semifinalist attempt to push up the standings from fifth place.
On the other hand, Rockets will look to Shooting Guard /Small Forward Eben Borsah to continue his fine form after serving a one game suspension.
Borsah returned to lead Rockets to a 49-36 win over Tema Heat with the returning Guard burying six three point shots in the game.
Rockets rank second in the standings with 10 wins in 16 appearances.
