Ghana Police Service takes on Tema Youth in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I tonight as both teams battle for a playoff spot.
The game takes place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu at 18:00 GMT and is the last of three fixtures lined up for tonight.
Police and Tema Youth rank seventh and sixth respectively in the ABL standings heading to the high profile fixture with playoff intentions.
Youth has seven wins in 14 games this season and is coming off a fourth place finish in this year’s CAP7 Memorial Tournament following a 43-45 loss to Adabraka CYO.
Ghana Police on the other hand, has five wins in 15 games for 20 points; the upcoming matchup is the last regular season game for Police.
Braves of Customs, Adenta Leopards and Ghana Fire Service have secured playoff spots. In other games, University of Ghana (UG) plays Reformers of Prisons in the Women’s Division at 15:00 GMT before UG plays Ada Knights in the Men’s Division II.
