Braves of Customs and Tudu Galaxy have won games in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Divisions played in midweek.
Customs beat Kawukudi Warriors 69-41 in the Men’s Division I while Galaxy beat Novas 70-61 in the Men’s Division II with both games taking place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The win is Braves 15th in as many appearances and keeps the defending champions in first place in the standings with 30 maximum points.
On the other hand, Warriors loss was the team’s 13th in 15 games and keeps Kawukudi in last place in the nine team standings in Division I.
In Division II, Galaxy grabbed its fourth win this season thanks to the nine point win over Novas on Wednesday in Tudu.
The result however, has no bearing on the race to Division I with league leaders University of Ghana (UG)’s lead intact.
The opening game between Ghana Navy and Ghana Fire Service in the Women’s Division ended in a forfeit win for Fire Service.
