Ghanaian-Italian Small Forward Awudu Abass has registered a win over former team Olimpio Milano in the 2019-2020 Serie A Basketball League.
Abass’ Brescia beat Milano 73-65 this past weekend for Brescia’s second win in as many appearances this season. Milano has a win in two games.
26 year old Abass is in his second season with Brescia after transferring from Milano in 2018 following Olimpio’s league title winning run.
He scored five points, while adding four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 22 minutes as a starter but had another tough shooting night.
After bagging just five points in the season opening win over Reggio Emilia, Abass converted just one of seven shot attempts from the field and converted one of three attempts from three point range in the game.
Brescia’s four remaining starters scored in double digits with DeAndre Landowne’s 13 points leading the way. The matchup had a prominent contingent that featured in the 2019 Basketball World Cup in China.
Aside Abass, Michael Roll, Jeffrey Brooks, Paul Biligha all played in China earlier this month.
