For the second time this week, Adabraka CYO has secured a win over Kawukudi Warriors in what have been positive outings for the former over the latter recently.
CYO beat Warriors 52-47 in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I season matchup played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The win was Adabraka’s second in as many appearances following CYO’s 37-32 win over Warriors in the CAP7 Memorial Basketball Tournament.
The tournament held to honour departed heroes of Ghana basketball ended this past weekend with Adenta Leopards winning the title in the Men’s Division.
Both teams competed in the tournament and CYO won the bronze medal after bagging a 45-43 win over Tema Youth. Beating Warriors eliminated the 2018 silver medalist from progressing in the competition.
CYO evens out its record for the season with seven wins in 14 games while Warriors stay bottom of the standings. Kawukudi has two wins in 13 games.
University of Ghana (UG) and Tudu Galaxy were in the Men’s Division II and Women’s Division.
