Tema Rockets Shooting Guard Ebenezer Borsah returned from a one game suspension to help his side record a 49-36 win over Tema Heat in an exciting game on Sunday, September 22 at the Tema Community 4 Court.
The 2019 Tema Community Basketball League matchup between two of the veteran heavy teams in the league lived up to the billing.
After serving his ban for use of inappropriate language against game officials, Borsah converted three of five attempts from three point range to give Rockets 14-3 first quarter lead.
His hot start cooled off in the remaining quarters as he scored a deep shot in the second quarter, another in the third quarter and a corner three point shot in the fourth quarter.
Rockets had ample help from Daniel Amartey who buried four three point shots in the first half stretching Heat’s lead to 27-8.
In a game that had both teams score more points from deep, Heat’s Fred Yeboah and Patrick Gamerli got a couple of shots to fall.
However, Heat missed layups at crucial times in the game.
