The final round of games in the 2019 CAP7 Memorial Basketball Tournament is set to play out later today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
Reformers of Prisons beat Tudu Galaxy 38-20 to place third in the Women’s Division on Friday, September 20 and the division final game between Braves of Customs and defending champions Ghana Police Service tips off at 12:00 GMT.
The matchup is a repeat of last year’s final game that had Police beat Braves 39-27 to win the maiden edition of the competition.
Tema Youth takes on Adabraka CYO in the opening game at 10:30 GMT in the battle for third place in the Men’s Division. Youth beat CYO to win the bronze medal in last year’s competition.
2018 Men’s Division Champions Adenta Leopards get to defend their title after beating Tema Youth 56-47 last night to make the final for the second year in a row.
Adenta takes on home side Tudu Galaxy in the final; CAP7 is held in honour of great personalities in basketball in Ghana including former Accra Basketball League (ABL) Chairman Benjamin Baafi and Matthias Ocloo, one of the founders of the ABL.
