Francophone Stars Basketball Club is set to play defending Tema Community Basketball League Champions Nungua Coldstore later this weekend.
Stars go into Sunday, September 22’s matchup at the Tema Community 4 Court on the back of a 53-48 win over Akatsi Rifles in the ongoing 2019 season.
Stars have endured a poor run in the 2019 season after placing third last season and winning bronze in the BetWay Tournament preseason competition.
Coldstore on the other hand, continue to impress as it seeks to become the first team to successfully defend the Tema League title. The team presently leads the league and its upcoming matchup tips off at 15:30 GMT on Sunday.
Rifles play Sakumono Titans in the follow up game before Tema Rockets take on Tema Heat; Rockets are set to welcome Guard Ebenezer Borsah back to its fold after serving a one game suspension.
The final matchup has Teshie Rangers taking on league debutant Tema Wildcats.
