Adabraka CYO is scheduled to feature in the CAP7 Basketball Tournament for the first time as a Division I side when the tournament tips off next week.
This year’s edition of the CAP7 Tournament commences on Tuesday, September 17 and is due to end on Saturday, September 21 at the Lebanon House Court.
CYO has been included in the eight team roster in the male division for the tournament that has been put together to honour heroes of basketball in Ghana.
Adabraka has had an up and down run thus far in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I since gaining promotion from Division II ahead of the start of the ongoing campaign.
The team has six wins in 13 games for 13 points and ranks fifth in the nine team league standings; CYO takes on league leaders Braves of Customs later tonight in Tudu with the tie scheduled to tip off at 19:00 GMT.
CYO goes into the game on the back of a 45-53 loss to Adenta Leopards who won the CAP7 Tournament last year.
