Tudu Magic Basketball Club has moved up to sixth place in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I after a turnaround in form.
The Tudu based team has won two straight games in the league after a poor run in the first half of the season that had Magic eighth in the nine team league.
Magic beat Ghana Police Service 64-54 before adding a 54-44 win over Tema Youth to its list of wins this season; both wins were secured at the Lebanon House Court.
Despite the upturn in fortune for Magic, the team still has a losing record with six wins and seven losses in 13 games for a point total of 19.
The team is tied on 19 points with fifth ranked Adabraka CYO and seventh ranked Tema Youth; Magic is scheduled to play Ghana Fire Service in the upcoming round of games on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lebanon House.
Fire Service ranks third in the league behind leaders Braves of Customs and Adenta Leopards.
