WNBA star Forward Angel McCoughtry’s visit to Ghana would help to get more women into sports according to Priceless Life Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Edwin Elikem Amenyeawu.

The young bright entrepreneur made the statement in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com after McCoughtry  headlined an all girls’ basketball camp at the Tema Community 4 Court recently.

Priceless Life was the team behind the two time Olympic and World Cup gold medalist’s visit to Ghana to lead the groundbreaking camp.

Speaking to Ghana’s leading basketball portal, Amenyeawu stated the reasons behind McCoughtry’s visit:

“Angel’s visit to Ghana is one we (Priceless Life Entertainment) as a company believe will go a long way in achieving our goals as capacity builders and promote women in sports” he said.

McCoughtry’s camp had several young girls participate with established players in Ghana including 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards Most Valuable Player Matilda Gordon join in.

Five time WNBA All Star McCoughtry has since returned to the United States and expects to play in Atlanta Dream’s season finale against New York Liberty.
