Standout Sprite Ball Championship alum Rose Yeboah has added another medal to her stellar collection following her tremendous exploits at the ongoing All Africa Games in Rabat, Morocco.

The young athlete won the Women’s High Jump gold medal with a jump of 1.84 meters to claim Ghana’s first gold medal at the 12th edition of the continental championship.

This comes on the back of the University of Cape-Coast student picking up medals at the ECOWAS Under 20 Championship in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and African University Games in Egypt respectively.

However, Yeboah’s rise to fame was through basketball after starring at the 2018 Sprite Ball Championship for Kumasi Girls Senior High School.

Yeboah was named Most Valuable Player at Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball tournament after leading Kumasi Girls to win the title for the first time ever. Kumasi Girls beat Accra Wesley Girls Senior High School 30-29 in the final.

In Kumasi Girls debut run at Sprite Ball in 2017, Yeboah missed out on a medal after her school placed fourth in the tournament.
