WNBA star Forward Angel McCoughtry has expressed her excitement ahead of the basketball camp she headlines later today at the Tema Community 4 Court in Ghana.

The five WNBA All Star arrived in Ghana on Thursday, August 22 ahead of the camp which is the first in the West African nation o be led by a WNBA player.

Registration for the camp is free and open to boys and girls between 4 and 18 years but there is more emphasis on developing females in the sport.

In an exclusive chat on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport where she was met by Lifeless Entertainment Sports Coordinator Sandy Asiedu.

“I cannot wait to see everything and am excited and am going to see you on the court” she said. She is expected to leave Ghana on Monday, August 26.

McCoughtry has spent all nine seasons in the WNBA with Atlanta Dream and has had stints in several European countries. She has won two Olympic gold medals and two World Cup titles with Team USA.
