Former NBA player Pops Mensah-Bonsu will headline a two day basketball camp in Ghana’s capital Accra Basketballghnaa.com can confirm.

The event dubbed “Pops Mensah-Bonsu Camp” is due to take place on Sunday, August 18 and Monday, August 19 at the International Central Gospel Church Court.

The camp is open to young girls and boys between the ages 12 and 18 and registration is free per reports reaching Ghana’s biggest basketball portal.

This is set to be Mensah-Bonsu’s latest presence at a basketball camp in Ghana after making similar moves at NBA’s Basketball Without Borders Camp alongside the likes of Serge Ibaka and Luol Deng.

In 2017, the former Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets now Pelicans and Toronto Raptors Forward joined two time NBA Champion David West and TJ Warren for the Africa All Access Camp.

Mensah-Bonsu is a Ghanaian former professional basketball player born in England who played for European top teams like Galatasaray, Sevilla, CSKA Moscow and Besiktas aside his run in the NBA.

He is the General Manager of the Capital City Go-Go in the NBA Gatorade League (a development league) and is the affiliate team of the NBA’s Washington Wizards in the development league.
