Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has returned to Providence College to work out this offseason as he continues preparations for next season.
The 24 year old recently signed for Greek super side Panathinaikos after impressing with Peristeri GS in his first season in Greece’s A1 League.
He was joined by former teammates Kris Dunn and LaDontae Henton in the workout at the trio’s old stomping ground. Bentil played two seasons at Providence and broke out in his second year.
Henton and Dunn spent four seasons with the Friars; Henton plays for Israeli side Maccabi Ashdod while Dunn plays for Chicago Bulls.
Bentil and Dunn were both drafted into the NBA in 2016 via the Draft with Dunn being picked fifth overall by Minnesota Timberwolves.
Bentil was picked 51st overall by Boston Celtics and made his NBA debut in 2017 in a brief stint with Dallas Mavericks. He has played for several clubs in his short professional career.
A strong campaign with Panathinaikos could lead to a second run in the NBA.
