The second round of the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League will commence on Sunday, August 11 Basketballghana.com can confirm.
This information comes on the heels of the League Board releasing the official schedule for the second half of this year’s campaign.
All games in the league will take place at the Tema Community 4 Court with at least two league fixtures set to be honoured on Sundays.
The regular season is due to end on December 1 before the start of the playoffs involving the top ranked eight teams. This year’s competition has 12 teams competing.
The opening round of games in the closing half of the regular season has defending champions and league leaders Nungua Coldstore taking on Spintex Knights.
The matchup is the last of four games to be played this weekend and has the two time league winners Coldstore up against fourth ranked Wildcats who are competing in the league for the first time.
The 2019 season is the fourth since the league was launched in 2016. Below is the full schedule:
