Ghana enter Amida Brimah was a guest speaker at the Dan Hurley Basketball Camp Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The shot blocking defender made an appearance at the camp to speak with young players about the sport of basketball on and off the court.
The all boys camp had participants range from age nine to 16 years; this year’s camp commenced on June 24 and is due to end on Thursday, August 8.
Speaking at the camp comes weeks after Brimah signed a one year partially guaranteed contract with Indiana Pacers after an impressive run at this year’s NBA Summer League with Brooklyn Nets.
In just 12 minutes, Brimah averaged 6.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks to help Brooklyn make the semifinals of the preseason tournament.
The 6 foot 11 inch player will compete for a spot on Pacers 2019-2020 NBA season when training camp begins in just under two months.
Brimah has been knocking on the doors of the NBA since graduating from University of Connecticut in 2017. He has spent the past two seasons in the NBA Gatorade League with Austin Spurs.
