TUSK Basketball Club takes on Tema Wildcats in a friendly game tonight at the Tema Community 4 Basketball Court Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The friendly matchup is a tune up game for Wildcats who are set to feature in the second half of the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League in the coming days. The official start date for the league’s resumption has yet to be announced.
TUSK played in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II but missed out on qualification to the elite division to Adabraka CYO.
However, the team didn’t register to compete in the ongoing campaign; Wildcats on the contrary, are featuring in the Tema League for the first time.
The young team has had an up and down season thus far recording four wins in 11 games tallying 15 points after the conclusion of the first half of the 2019 campaign.
Wildcats rank seventh in the standings and are one of six teams with 15 points including 2018 nronze medal winners Francophone Stars.
