Veteran Forward Wesley Johnson has signed for Greece Basketball giant Panathinaikos becoming the latest signing in a hectic offseason for the reigning A1 League Champions.

The fourth overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft moves to Europe after a nine year playing career that had him suit up for the likes of Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Clippers.

He played for New Orleans and Washington Wizards last season before agreeing to move to play overseas for the time in his professional career.

Johnson becomes the latest former NBA player to sign for Panathinaikos; ex NBA players including Tyrese Rice and Jimmer Fredette were signed earlier in the offseason.

Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is a member of the ex NBA contingent at Panathinaikos following his move from Peristeri GS in his debut season in Europe.

Bentil impressed with Peristeri GS recording 12.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game and led Peristeri to a fourth place finish in the league last season. Bentil had a brief stint with Dallas Mavericks.

Both men are expected to play key roles in the league and EuroLeague.
