Ghana Police Service lost important games in the closing rounds of the first half of the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I season.

However, the team got a positive start to the second half of the season after bagging an impressive win over Adabraka CYO.

Following a 49-73 loss to CYO in the first round, Police grabbed a 73-49 win in the second go around at the Prisons Court on Thursday, August 1.

After embarrassingly losing 36-77 to close rival Braves of Customs in the final game of the first round, Tema Youth failed to get back to winning ways in its first appearance in the second round.

Tema lost 41-58 to Ghana National Fire Service for its third loss this season; the loss marked the first time Tema have gone two games without a win.

Later tonight, more Division I action takes place at the same venue as Tudu Magic plays Adenta Leopards. Panthers take on Tudu Galaxy in the Men’s Division II.
