The first half of the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League is set to end later tonight after two remaining games are honoured at the Tema Community 4 Court.
Home side Community 4 plays Spintex Knights after Akatsi Rifles take on Teshie Rangers with the fixture to tip off at 17:30 GMT.
The league is headed for a week long break in the aftermath of tonight’s games before the second half of the season commences.
The top eight teams in the 12 team competition will progress to the playoffs; this year’s campaign is the fourth since the league started.
Irrespective of results from today’s games, defending league champions and two time league winner Nungua Coldstore will remain in first place.
However, Community 4 could close the gap on the leaders to two points should they seal a win over league debutants Knights.
Rangers have remained in the bottom spot for several weeks despite beating top side Team Community 2 31-26. Teshie could move to 11th place should they beat Rifles who presently occupy the spot.
