Indiana Pacers Training Camp Roster now stands at 18 following the additions of lengthy Forwards Jakarr Sampson and Ghanaian international Amida Brimah.
Sampson-6 foot 9- is the latest addition to the Pacers frontline that lost Thaddeus Young in free agency. Sampson played with Chicago Bulls last season.
Brimah who doubles as a Center was snapped up by Indiana after an impressive performance in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
In just 12.5 minutes per game, the 6 foot 11 inch Brimah averaged 6.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks for Brooklyn Nets.
On the back of the strong run with the Nets, the 25 year old signed a one year deal with the Pacers which is partially guaranteed.
Should he make the final cut for the 2019-2020 season, Brimah would be the second Ghana born player to play in the NBA.
Boston Celtics draftee in 2016 Ben Bentil is the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA after a brief stint with Dallas Mavericks.
Brimah is a former University of Connecticut Captain and NBA Gatorade League winner with Austin Spurs. With the Spurs, he was a two time All G League Defensive member.
