Ghanaian Forward Gershon Kurt Mawuli continues to impress as the days tick down to his debut game for Warren Wilson University.

The young Forward’s latest highlight display came in the Bermuda Basketball League where he helped his side-Pembroke Skyforce- beat Southampton Wolfpack 64-63.

The game was won in overtime after the regulation period had both teams tied on 57 points; Mawuli was named the Most Valuable Player.

He registered 11 points, 23 rebounds, an assist, a steal and made five blocks in a standout double double production in the game.

Mykal Glasgow and Jason Lowe of Southampton and Jericho Tucker of Skyforce starred in the game with Glasgow scoring a game high 30 points.

The latest development comes as positive news regarding Mawuli’s readiness for College Basketball in the United States after spending time at the Hurricane Basketball Academy and Preparatory.

He signed to join Warren Wilson earlier this year; Kurt played community basketball in Ghana with Tema Heat before moving to Hurricane Academy.
